VOGUE Wedding 系列這次和 BVLGARI 珠寶合作,我的目標是仿造午後靜謐的暖陽,透過 Liteflow Reflectors 的不同尺寸與號數,在兩位主角(人和珠寶)都點綴了一些高光細節,營造真實陽光會有的自然衰弱。 室內透過 MG1200Bi 打透一組 8*8 Silk 鋪設足夠的環境底光,因為透過大面落地窗進入的自然光雖有幾處高光,但整體要是均勻曝光才符合真實經驗。至於大面積的窗框陰影則是透過 Spotlight mount 安裝 GOBO 片製造的,為了能配合導演需求,讓窗影快速掃過主角們,也為了讓觀眾能相信我們假造的所有光線實際上真的是從窗外進來的自然光,即使沒有拍到真的窗戶(視覺上的光線來源),只要能有窗影,觀眾就能自己連結到景框外是有窗戶的——即使一切都是我們透過燈光營造的體驗。
For VOGUE Wedding's collaboration with BVLGARI, my aim was to imitate the still warmth of late-afternoon sun. With Liteflow Reflectors across different sizes and grades, I added highlight detail to both the bride and the jewellery, shaping the natural falloff that real sunlight gives. For the interior, an MG1200Bi punched through an 8×8 Silk to set a solid ambient base — because while the daylight from the large floor-to-ceiling windows brings a few highlights, the overall frame has to stay evenly exposed to feel real. The large window-frame shadows came from a GOBO on a Spotlight mount, which let us sweep the shadow quickly across the subjects on the director's cue while selling the idea that every bit of our manufactured light was genuine daylight from outside. We never show the window itself — the visual source — yet the shadow is enough for viewers to picture one just beyond the frame, even though the whole thing is built entirely with lighting.
